Walks are held once a month, on a Saturday
(usually the 3rd), in the Sydney Harbour area,
or in outer areas including the Australian bushland.
Previous walks have included Cockatoo Island, Dangar Island, Macquarie Lighthouse,
and Watson's Bay, Springwood and Minnamurra Falls.
The April 2010 walk was to Breenhold Gardens at Mount Wilson (picture above).

Walkers are required to register no later than the Thursday night before each walk.

All walks are graded

If unsure about weather conditions phone on the morning of the walk.

It is your personal responsibility to determine your ability to participate in a walk. If unsure, have a chat with one of the organisers.

Transport will vary: car, ferry, bus or train.

Cost is $4 per walk plus other transport fees as applicable and your own expenses, unless otherwise specified.

North Cronulla Beach to Gunnamatta Bay

Meet:
back of Church car park ready to leave at 8.00am.
Walk to Castle Hill, Metro to Chatswood, Train to Town Hall change for Train to Cronulla.
Cost:
Open church fee: $4.00
Metro/Train : Seniors $2.50,
full fare approx $15.00
Rating and length of walk:
Medium with some steps and hills. Approximately 6km
About the Walk:
Arrive at Cronulla, short walk down to beach for coffee. Continue to North Cronulla and join The Esplanade to start, follow the paved path past Shelley Park and Oak Park to Bass and Flinders Point, with amazing views across to Bundeena and The Royal National Park. We come to some steps to Darook Park where we plan to have lunch. Depending on the tides, walk along the sand or the road to Gunnamatta Bay. Follow the path back to Cronulla station. Opportunity for coffee/refreshments before our return journey.
Bring:
Lunch, drink, snacks, camera, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, good walking shoes, personal first aid.
Return:
to the church car park approx. 5pm
